Barbara Rich
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERâ„¢
Most of my working life has been spent in the financial services industry. I work with my clients to guide them through their life changes. Those include marriage, children, divorce, death in the family, career changes, and retirement decisions.
I help my clients find the answers to their questions for their life journey. How do I budget? How do I get control of my finances? How do I pay off my debts? Can I afford to buy a home? How should I save for my child’s college education? Can I afford to get a higher degree? What happens to me (or my spouse) if one of us dies? How do I retire at age 65? How much should I save for retirement?
I have the Certified Financial Planner™ designation and I also do tax preparation. I have been an Investment Adviser Representative with Commonwealth for about 30 years. I taught a financial class with a community learning center in Providence for about 30 years. It was such a great way to educate my community about financial issues.
Our financial lives start with small steps. I love the part of my job that helps my clients find the answers to their questions.
